System info

The Nintendo DS was a revolutianary video game system. It featured two screens, one a touch screen, a microphone, and more buttons then seen before on a handheld Nintendo system. The Nintendo DS is the best selling system so far, beating out the old best selling system, the Sony Playstation 2. The Nintendo DS has been redesigned into a smaller version (Titled the "Nintendo DS Lite" which is infamous for breaking the casing around the hinges, or the hinges themselves). Then along came the Nintendo DSi, which was like a handheld Wii with the abillity to purchase and download games, internal memory, Opera internet browser, a microphone, and two cameras. The Nintendo DSi was missing the GBA slot, meaning that it is in-compatible with Guitar Hero games, the Opera Web browser memory expansion, the DS rumble pack, and of course GBA games. A larger version of the Nintendo DSi was released as the Nintendo DSi XL with larger screens and system size then any other DS system.
DS Originals (Sometimes called "Phats") Go for around $90.00 USD at GameStop used. Nintendo DS Lites can run you from $100.00 - $140.00. Nintendo DSis can cost from $130.00 - $150.00. DSi XLs can cost $130 - $180.00.
