Pokemon Black & White versions kick off generation 5 of the ever so popular Pokemon series. This game features over 150 new Pokemon, giving the Pokedex (In-game encyclopedia of every Pokemon ever) a total of over 650 of the creatures. One of the most impressive features is the mutliplayer. From the new Xtranseiver feature (Which allows video chat on Nintendo DSi, DSi XL, and 3DS), to the simple Voice Chat, to the ability to trade and battle, these games were and still are some of the best multiplayer experiences for a handheld system. The only thing I have to whine about on these games is the slow Wi-Fi network. Now, I don't know if that's because of the Japanese earthquake or what, but it lags sometimes (especially when you use the Xtranseiver).
Overall, the 3D graphics (3DS not needed for them), impressive improvements to the battle system, and the addition of a boatload of new Pokemon makes this game a must-have for any Pokemon fan, and maybe even any DS owner.
